The Project
Before you read any further, Millionaire Max is a character played by Devin Tracy. He is an entrepreneur in his own right and began creating some parody videos to point out the unethical tactics used by those in the “guru” industry. I love them, and so did others. So after some prodding on my end to keep making the videos, he asked me to make a website that Max could direct viewers to in order to further showcase how these scams worked. We ended up with a simple site with a singular mysterious Call-to-Action…Insiders Only.
What was this CTA? Nothing. We used a template of the sales funnels that Devin actually uses in his business and edited them to hopefully be obvious that visitors should never buy from someone like this.
This was one of the most unique and fun experiences I have ever had working on a web design project, and I encourage you to watch some of the videos if you also have issues with the online gurus.

About the Designer
After barely surviving a harrowing mental health crisis as a teenager, Lilith Rose (they/them), they began communicating openly about their experiences. After 8 years and over a hundred speaking engagements later, they relocated to San Francisco in 2021 to advance their advocacy efforts by joining forces with PFLAG SF.
Starting out as a support group member, they continued on as a board member, and soon began leading the organization as the Executive Director.
Rose now runs their studio, Wild Rose Marketing, continuing their passions of building beautiful and effective websites while teaching everything they know
